Suriname
Conservation Foundation attends 7th Annual Assembly Meeting of
RedLAC
The Suriname Conservation Foundation attends the 7th Annual
Assembly Meeting of the RedLAC (Red de fondos ambientales de
Latinoamérica y el Caribe). The meeting will be held from
October 25-27, 2005 in Antigua, Guatamala.
RedLAC’s mission is to set up an effective system of learning,
strengthening, training, and cooperation through a network of
national environmental funds aimed at contributing to the
conservation and sustainable use of nature in Latin America and
the Caribbean.
The Suriname Conservation Foundation will be represented by
Leonard C. Johanns, Executive Director, Jacqueline Jubithana,
Stephanie Bram and Richene Libretto, members of the Board of
Directors of the SCF. The SCF delegation will, at this Annual
Assembly Meeting, provide a brief presentation of its
activities.
